It’s time for Clean Power – Art To Inspire Action
From anxiety and apathy to optimism and action

The CLEAN POWER campaign, featuring Morag Myerscough’s vibrant artwork, promoted a powerful and positive message about renewable energy.

The climate and energy crisis can feel overwhelming and scary. CLEAN POWER aimed to shift public sentiment from anxiety or apathy to optimism and action,  encouraging individuals to embrace renewable energy solutions.
The Challange
Three-quarters of greenhouse gas emissions come from the energy we use to power our lives. The climate crisis and energy crisis can feel overwhelming. The campaign addressed the need to shift public sentiment from anxiety or apathy to optimism and action, encouraging individuals to embrace renewable energy solutions.
The Solution
We wanted CLEAN POWER to be an optimistic message of achievable change.  We partnered with artist Morag Mayerscroft to design a powerful campaign visual in her signature joyous, colourful style.

The campaign kicked off in Glasgow for COP26 and lined the so-called ‘pathway of power’ that world leaders walked along to get to the conference by installing CLEAN POWER branded recycled vinyl hoardings and 40 recycled ocean-bound plastic flags. Following COP26, the campaign moved to London, where we installed 105 flags, vinyl-wrapped planters, bus shelter posters, and pavement stickers along the length of Oxford Street.

To tie it all together, we created a dedicated website, www.cleanpower.eco. Here, people could find energy-saving advice, details on how renewables can replace fossil fuels, save you money and even how to invest in a share of Ripple Energy’s wind farm.
Artwork from our COP26 activation toured the world, spreading the optimistic message to countries including Japan, the USA, Italy, Australia, and New Zealand.

The flags from the Oxford Street installation were recycled into tote bags available from bottletop.com

During the campaign, over 2000 people reserved their place on Ripple’s second wind farm.
