The Togetherband campaign
Sharing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
The Togetherband campaign was created by the British sustainable fashion brand BOTTLETOP to help raise awareness of, promote, and humanise the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The campaign encouraged individuals to engage with the SDGs through the sale and sharing of iconic coloured wristbands, with the mission of driving awareness, action, and collaboration towards a more sustainable future.
Wear your band, share your goal
Togetherband's aim is to drive awareness, action, and collaboration around the SDGs. We designed the bands and packaging to promote sharing and embody the goals, making each band a tangible representation of the values it aims to promote.
The Challenge
The SDGs are well known in the business, government, and charity sectors but can seem distant, abstract, or even irrelevant to the general public. The Togetherband campaign needed to spread the SDG message and create a connection between individuals and the Goals. We wanted to inspire personal investment and drive collective action.
The Solution
At the centre of the campaign, we created iconic, colourful wristbands representing all 17 of the SDGs. The bands were designed to be tangible representations of the SDGs, made from and packaged in innovative, sustainable materials. Each pack contained two bands—one to wear and one to share—encouraging personal sharing and sparking conversations around the Goals.

The campaign engaged over 1000 ambassadors from various cultural backgrounds, including David Beckham, Lewis Hamilton, Amina J Mohamed, and Jameela Jamil. By leveraging ambassadors and their 220 million social media followers, the campaign amplified the message far beyond its own channels.
Togetherband has donated over £2 million from the sale of its iconic brightly coloured wristbands to SDG-focused charities worldwide
Together has provided 170,000 meals to families in need, recycled over a tonne of illegal firearms (used to make the band clasps) and provided almost 300,000 hours of artisan employment to survivors of sex trafficking.
