Harnessing the power of music to raise awareness and inspire action for SDG6
COVID-19 was causing devastation in South America, exacerbated by poor communities' lack of clean water and sanitation. #TOGETHERLIVE launched in November 2020 in response to the pandemic as a way to harness the power of music to raise awareness and inspire action.
Central to the campaign were two concerts broadcast live on YouTube. The first featured Brazilian artist Seu Jorge, and the second featured the band Reik in Mexico—both concerts combined live music with inspirational clean water and sanitation CTAs.
Over 900,000 people watched the concerts. The social campaign reached 441 million people through organic and paid posts
Money raised was used to provide sanitiser and clean water to over 500,000 people in deprived areas of Brazil and Mexico
