Together Live, concerts for clean water and sanitation
Harnessing the power of music to raise awareness and inspire action for SDG6
The Challenge
COVID-19 was causing devastation in South America, exacerbated by poor communities’ lack of clean water and sanitation. In November 2020, in response to the pandemic, Togetherband partnered with Harpic to launch the #TOGETHERLIVE campaign as a way to harness the power of music to help marginalised communities, raise awareness and inspire action around SDG6 – Clean Water and Sanitation.

The Solution
To reach the widest possible audience, we teamed up with hugely popular and respected Brazilian musician Seu Jorge and the band Reik in Mexico— to put on two concerts broadcast live on YouTube. Both concerts combined live music with inspirational clean water and sanitation CTAs.

Over 900,000 people watched the concerts. The social campaign reached 441 million people through organic and paid posts.
Money raised was used to provide sanitiser and clean water to over 500,000 people in deprived areas of Brazil and Mexico
